I woudl have given a decent review, but alas, the breakfast fruit was a total letdown with just whole apples. The dinner host was completely clueless about the menu options. And can someone explain why I wasn't offered an upgrade or a welcome gift? Absolutely unacceptable for such an overpriced stay.

A very stylish hotel with well appointed rooms. The breakfast and evening meal was absolutely fantastic with lots of choice. A stunning view over the Swiss Alps provided great scenery for an evening drink.

Breakfast very good! good choice of bread, good products! Muesli was a dream. Fruit salad fresh. good open jams. If desired, fried egg or egg dish fresh and very good prepared. Coffee very good and is brought. Cappuccino is also served! Very good and high quality juices - without sugar! various good sorts, obliging service! Nice reception! Great staff! Comfortable bed. The food was excellent and we very much appreciated and gladly accepted the offer of an excellent, cheaper daily menu for hotel guests. Very quiet! Huge bathroom - very pleasant !!. Free bus within zone 10! Approx. 15 minutes by bus to the old town of Lucerne. Runs every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sundays. Stop right in front of the hotel !!!
lake view was only possible from our room to a very limited extent, there was hardly any lake visible. view of the roof and neighbouring buildings. that was disappointing for the price and lake view! but, at least the mountains on the other side of the lake could be seen. I and some others always have a heat accumulation problem with these anti-allergic duvets, unfortunately.

The warm hospitality enhanced our stay, and the evening views from our balcony were amazing, making dinner special.

The room was large and very comfortable with a partial view of the lake. Access to the city centre is easy with either the bus or by car and there is a parking lot on the road into town which is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre along the lake. Good internet. We use this hotel as a pleasant overnight stop on our way to Zurich airport which is around 50 minutes away. Breakfast is good.
I understand that the restaurant, although expensive, is good but it has not been open on the nights of any of our visits. There are limited other choices in Meggen but a lot in Lucerne centre.

Very inviting when you arrive. The traditional Swiss meal at the Bistro was exceptional and the Swiss musician was a delightful surprise. Loved the mountain views and the clean large (for Europe) rooms. Would stay there again. The buffet breakfast was delicious and well stocked.

The hotel was very clean with very large rooms with an awesome view of the mountains. The hotel staff was very nice and the breakfast was great. My family had two adjoining rooms with a shared terrace.

Very spacious rooms, clean, our room had view to the lake. Free Parking and bus stop outside the hotel.
No luxury at all for 140 euros paid.

fine mountain views, outdoor pool with scenic views, animal sanctuary in the gardens
The distance from the city center is quite inconvenient, requiring a bus ride that can take up to 20 minutes!!! The dining options are limited, especially since the restaurant closes on Mondays and Tuesdays!!!

We liked the staff, who were helpful. we liked the breakfast, and the location.
The room lacked a coffee/tea corner and a minibar. The bathroom is in the middle of the room, and has only a thin glass door.

We had a warm stay by 3 nights.
Greatly enjoyed our time here. Everything was great, so where perfect views of the lake and the mountains. Our room was quiet and had a spacious bathroom.

Staff members are good but manager is greedy, you can see manager giving hard time to member for being friendly with guests. Do provide breakfast but worst I ever had in the whole trip. there is no lift so have to carry down 2 large baggages by myself from second floor. The receptionist did not inform us the closing time for restaurants and then charge CHF 76 for a cold meat platter. Inspite of availability couldn't provide us room with the view although it was requested in booking. Absolute no no from me

Clean and well-appointed rooms with high-quality food.
We found it quite far from the train station, and had to rely on public transport, which wasn't as convenient as I had hoped. The restaurant staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful, which left a sour note on our dining experience.
